Business Services Mission Statement
Business Services supports the campus teaching, research, and outreach efforts in pursuance of its mission, vision and goal by 1) providing development and review of a variety of agreements for such activities as professional services, performances, and facilities use to help ensure a sound business approach and, through interaction with the staff of the UM General Counsel’s Office, a sound legal one as well, 2) providing negotiations for and facilitation of the purchase, sale and lease of real estate, 3) serving as a resource for non-medical insurance issues, and 4) assisting in efforts to maintain good employee relations by investigating and deciding staff grievance appeals.
